Local bus number 1 (From Airport select “Lentoasema-Rydöntie-Kauppatori” and from the Harbour select “Satama-Kauppatori” the first column is Monday-Friday, second Saturday and third Sunday) leaves from the airport approximately every 20-30 minutes. It stops in the city centre, on the Market Place, in front of the Sokos Hotel Hamburger Börs. Bus tickets can be bought from the driver, single ticket 2 € (3 € after 23 pm), valid for 2 hours.
The local bus number 6 (select “Kauppatori-Vaala” the first column is Monday-Friday, second Saturday and third Sunday) takes you directly from the Market Place to the conference site. The bus stop is in front of the FOREX, beside Sokos Hotel Hamburger Börs.
Taxis are generally easy to get, there are several taxi stands in the city centre, one on the Market Place. For a 5 km trip you may expect the fare to be around 10 euros, 10 km 15 euros (e.g. distance: Airport – City centre 9 km). After 8 p.m. a small additional charge.
Congress Office has reserved rooms for the conference
participants in three hotels in Turku. Please mark
your hotel reservation on the registration
form (see below for more instructions). Your
reservation will be confirmed together with your participation. Note that
the reservations will be made on “first come, first served” basis.
The
hotel fees include breakfast, service and VAT. Please inform the Congress
Office of any changes in you accommodation.

All payments must be made in euros (EUR). Please make sure
that your name and word "LICT" are clearly stated on all
payments. We recommend you to present a receipt of
your payment when arriving to the conference in case of any unclarities.
Cancellation
must be made in writing (letter, fax or email) to the Congress Office
before May 31, 2005. No fees will be refunded after this date. A processing fee
of 50 EUR will be deducted from all refunds.
The Congress Office will be ready to assist you at the conference site during the scientific programme. For on-site payments cash, Visa, Mastercard and Eurocard are accepted.
