  • Week 3: Introduction, Overview on devices and UI capabilities, AWT basics.
  • Week 4: Event handling, more AWT components.
  • Week 5: About GUI application, Swing basics.
  • Week 6: Advanced Swing. Qt intro.
  • Week 7: Wed 15.2 at 8-10 (beta) -- Guest lecture on Qt and QML: Marko Mattila, Cybercom! Web. Ajax. Vaadin intro.
  • Week 8: Guest lecture on Vaadin: ?? (open) Application generators. Windows, testing, course highlights.
• Modes of study: lectures 24h, a 2-phase programming exercise by a group of 2-4 persons. Either report writing on chosen GUI technique by a group of 2-4 persons (recommended) or an examination.
